North Dakota Department of Health to host Town Hall on COVID-19 vaccine booster and pediatric doses

BISMARCK, N.D. – Friday, Nov. 5, at 1:30 p.m. CT the North Dakota Department of Health (NDDoH) is hosting a live virtual Town Hall regarding the recent FDA authorization of both COVID-19 vaccine boosters for adults and the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5-11.

Speakers at the Town Hall will include:

  • Molly Howell, MPH, NDDoH Immunization division director
  • Joan Connell, MD, UND Center for Family Medicine pediatrician,
  • Avish Nagpal, MD, Sanford Health infectious disease specialist
  • Grace Njau, NDDoH Special Projects and Health Analytics division director

Along with the speakers, Brenton Nesemeier, MS, NDDoH Field Services division director will be available to answer questions.

Citizens are encouraged to participate live in the Q&A but may also submit their questions in advance to the NDDoH via direct message on the department’s Facebook, Twitter or Instagram pages.
